… you didn’t know about the city centre!
Thanks to Eif C for sharing.
Lots of familiar places: Hop House, Mary Abbey, Freemasons Hall and Sunlight Chambers.
Lots of new ones: Wittgenstein plaque, Old Burton Building and Blessington Basin.
Great idea. View it better here. Props to Designing Dublin
Thanks for the post! We showed the 100 exciting things as an exhibition in Filmbase before Christmas and it’s now getting a second outing in the atrium of the Dublin City Council buildings until January 28th. It’s open to the public on weekdays so please do pop along for a peek if you missed it the first time round.
Tara from Designing Dublin.
How did youse not know about Blessington Basin? Lovely place, although every time I’m there I witness some manner of scumbaggery. Once I saw a pissed east european guy catch a pidgeon with his bare hands (admittedly impressive), another time it was a gang of teenage ruffians nicking a woman’s bag and the last time I saw a junkie beating another homeless fella with his crutches.
The northside, wha.
Kieran, they’re savages over there.
FYI: Golden Lane does not have a junction with Geroges Street. The two streets that meet Georges St are Upr Stephens St and Gt. Longford Street. They lead from Georges Street to Golden Lane.
