tats my lovely mother and big brother
Karen! would u mind passing me on contact details for Keith for an interview?!
To the mods – It’s not a direct comment on this article; there’s a supberb film after going up on youtube recently ‘The Image Changers – Darndale’. Has excellent footage of the estate in the 70s and 80s and covers the residents campaign to improve what the planners had created. If you can access to share it, I think it’s well worth posting. Cheers.
Karen I am trying to contact Keith, want to interview him and chat about the journey he did way back then .. my email is info@lkf.ie many thanks Liz Kenny
Maybe my post was mis-interpreted – by mods, I meant moderators (you lads running the site), not white socks and Fred Perrys. I didn’t expect it to be posted – it was just a tipoff about a good film. It’s not a film about fashion (mods/Image changes etc); it’s about rebuilding the estate. The design of the estate had been so poor that it was never replicated and this film details it’s problems and how they dealt with it. Thanks again.
Dear Karen:
I’m a screenwriter. I’d be grateful if you’d let your brother know I’d like to write a narrative feature about his journey.
Thank you,
Barry
