Hmm Rory, I’ve never bought that ‘e’! I know it features in the bridge title, but I’ve always taken C. Desmond Greaves book (http://www.irishdemocrat.co.uk/features/mellows/liam-mellows-and-the-irish-revolution.jpg) and a few other sources and gone with Mellows! It’s an interesting one but, as I’ve seen both in sources from the time.
