My thanks also to old students of the college who commented on here. It is nothing short of a disgrace the building was ever allowed deteriorate in the manner it did.

Would be a great place to take some pictures. Is the property open?
Security on patrol and no photographs allowed as someone got permission to take pics but then sold them to the independant newspaper and slammed the place in an article.

Given how much the Oblates gave to the local communities of Darndale etc., this is how the locals repay them. Trashing the place, ripping out fireplaces, smashing all the windows.. An utter tragedy, a beautiful historic building left in ruins and a sacred church defiled. They are now deserving of what they are left with……
