I wouldn’t be a keen reader of Woman’s Way, what with being a man and all that, but someone in the house is.
Skimming it, I noticed a sizeable section dealing with the soaps:
And looking at Fair City, RTE’s wonderful and moving account of what it’s like to live on the northside of Dublin, I noticed this:
Maybe Jim Corr was right about all Fair City scripts and coverage having to be approved by the Vatican.
Ouch….would not like to be that sub-editor
Woman’s Way has a Sex Talk feature?! Albeit perhaps apologetically placed in the top corner but still. What happened to articles about knitting patterns, recipes and advice on the most effective detergent, as is my knowledge of what women are interested in…?
I’d kill for a sub-editor.
Also, on magazines, the re-design of AdWeek is flippin’ beautiful.
Lorem ipsum…
Why comment on the Irish equivalent of Yeast blenders anyway?
Clearly wasn’t worth their while filling in the blankety text in the desktop publishing template.
This is the usual source for such filler text:
http://www.lipsum.com/
But they don’t seem to have used the original version. Probably generated a random one.
On the other hand is it possible that Fair City is so steamy that theirs is an accurate account of what goes on there?
They’re using Quark, which is, like, so old school. Different layout programs use different placeholder texts.
