Andy Quirke, uber rich boy with loads of times on his hands, brings out a surprisingly catchy and well made spoof music video looking at the two extremes of Dublin social life.
11,000 views in just under a fortnight so far but with last night’s showing on the Republic of Telly, I’ll reckon it’s going to be a big one.
Loved that!
So true to life.
Why?
An aside….when I was young in Dublin there were no posh people and that weird posh accent certainly didn’t exist.
Where did it come from? It seemed to emerge in the eighties from Dublin 4, apparently.
epic stuff i love kebab at the end hahahaha
From the Herald:
“OUTRAGE is spreading over Rosanna Davison’s appearance at a ‘skanger’ themed party thrown for her boyfriend’s brother.
A number of Scottish and English newspapers have now picked up on the Herald’s exclusive story about the …”chav chic” party held in a posh Dublin suburb last weekend.
The former Miss World and her well-heeled boyfriend Wes Quirke attended his younger brother Andy’s 25th party dressed a little more down market than usual.
Young ‘Drummies’, rugby wags and posh boys dined on takeaway food and drank cans of Dutch Gold into the early hours of the morning at the fancy-dress party.”
Nothing short of a prick.
