Unfortunately I missed your slot. Is it available on podcast. I checked out the site but couldn’t find any reference to it.
I do remember (from the 1950s?) the papers reporting baton charges in O’Connell St. Seemed to be taken for granted at the time. Don’t remember the context.
NIce one. I was only reading the other day some oul parish pump craw thumper claiming we needed to return to when Ireland was a shining beacon of Vatican social order.
